Problem Solving Directions: Solve each problem and choose the best of the answer choices provided. Data Sufficiency Directions: Data sufficiency problems consist of a question and two statements, labeled (1) and (2), in which certain data are given. You have to decide whether the data given in the statements are sufficient for answering the question. Using the data given in the statements plus your knowledge of mathematics and everyday facts (such as the number of days in July or the meaning of counterclockwise), you are to select: (A) if statement (1) ALONE is sufficient, but statement (2) alone is not sufficient to answer the question asked; (B) if statement (2) ALONE is sufficient, but statement (1) alone is not sufficient to answer the question asked; (C) if BOTH statements (1) and (2) TOGETHER are sufficient to answer the question asked, but NEITHER statement alone is sufficient; (D) if EACH statement ALONE is sufficient to answer the question asked; (E) if statements (1) and (2) TOGETHER are NOT sufficient to answer the question asked, and additional data specific to the problem are needed.Question 1 A B C D EQuestion 2 A B C D EQuestion 3 A B C D EQuestion 4 A B C D EQuestion 5 A B C D EQuestion 6 A B C D EQuestion 7 A B C D EQuestion 8 A B C D EQuestion 9 A B C D EQuestion 10 A B C D EQuestion 11 A B C D EQuestion 12 A B C D EQuestion 13 A B C D EQuestion 14 A B C D EQuestion 15 A B C D EQuestion 16 A B C D EQuestion 17 A B C D EQuestion 18 A B C D EQuestion 19 A B C D EQuestion 20 A B C D EVerbal Test (30 minutes) This test is made up of sentence correction, critical reasoning, and reading comprehension questions. Sentence Correction Directions: In sentence corrections, some part of the sentence or the entire sentence is underlined. Beneath each sentence you will find five ways of phrasing the underlined part. The first of these repeats the original; the other four are different. If you think the original is the best of these answer choices, choose answer (A); otherwise, choose the best version and select the corresponding letter. Reading Comprehension Directions: After reading the passage, choose the best answer to each question. Answer all questions following a passage on the basis of what is stated or implied in that passage. Critical Reasoning Directions: Select the best of the answer choices given.
